Terms and Conditions

Registration & Payment+

The registration fee must be submitted along with the registration packet. In the event of withdrawal, the fee is non-refundable and will be retained by Open World International School.

Tuition rates are flat-rate, regardless of the number of days of leave or absence in a month. A continuous absence of less than one quarter does not result in a reduction in tuition.

When a student enrolls during the school year, tuition is calculated on a pro rata basis.

If a direct debit is declined, a fee of 20 € will be charged. After three declined payments, direct debits will be suspended, and families must pay directly at the school office in cash.

If all or part of the fees are paid by an employer, a letter from the employer must be included with the application, confirming the percentage covered and the name of the student receiving the benefit.

Lunch & After-School Options+

The choice of program and after-school option is binding for the family for the entire term. The school year is divided into three terms: T1 (September → end of November), T2 (December 1 → end of February), T3 (March 1 → end of the school year).

Any changes during the year may only be made on a quarterly basis by emailing secretariat@ecoleopenworld.com before the end of the quarter (November 15 or February 15).

Our rates are fixed and are non-refundable, even in part. In the event of illness lasting more than 8 days, a refund for meals not consumed may be requested by email, accompanied by a doctor's note.

Lunch box: The price includes cafeteria services and fruit breaks. Lunch boxes cannot be reheated. If a student forgets to bring a lunch box, a meal will be served and charged at €12.

Occasional meals: available with 3 days' advance notice.

Early departure+

The child is enrolled until the end of the school year; tuition is due in full for any year that has begun.

If a student withdraws during the school year, only the meal and after-school program fees for the following quarters are refundable, provided that the administration is notified by letter or email (direction@ecoleopenworld.com) at least one month in advance. In cases of proven force majeure, an exception may be granted.

In the event of non-payment+

In the event of non-payment by the due dates, the administration reserves the right to refuse admission to the student. Any collection fees are the sole responsibility of the parents.

The same applies to field trips and school trips: once a contract is signed with a service provider, the trip is billed in full. No cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, is eligible for a refund, even a partial one.
